Sub-processors
Last updated: 26 September 2026
To run Sepia we rely on a small number of other companies. This page lists every one that may handle your customer data, what it receives, and why. It is the list referenced by our Data Processing Addendum.
Infrastructure
| Sub-processor | What it processes | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud / Firebase United States |
All application data — contacts, messages, files, bookings, invoices | Database, file storage, authentication, and the servers the product runs on |
Communications
| Sub-processor | What it processes | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Twilio United States |
Phone numbers, message contents, call audio | Sending and receiving SMS/MMS, placing and receiving calls, call recording |
| Resend US East sending region selected |
Email addresses, message contents, attachments, delivery and reply events | Sending platform email and receiving replies. Provider sub-processor details |
| Nylas US API region selected |
Authorized mailbox identity, messages, attachments and mailbox event notifications | Connecting mailboxes, retrieving mail and sending requested messages. Provider sub-processor details |

The selected email/API region is a configuration fact, not a promise that all provider support access or all sub-processors operate only in that region. Existing providers remain listed while their connections or retained records still apply.

These receive only what a specific AI feature needs at the moment it runs. They are not given standing access to your database.
